DAY SIX
I really tried to make this photo pop and bring all attention to the tattoo, I wanted it to look sort of mystic and colorful.
Used my macbook (photobooth) to take the photo and then edited it with photoshop, using highpass, blur, and selective colors. =]
P.S. This blonde hair is starting to grow on me, but Im still changing it back to brunette after the photoshoot.

Recently I blogged about a new project that I am starting called $2 portraits. The idea is that I will offer $2 to anyone who asks me for money from now on in exchange for their portrait.
Yesterday while out shooting I ran into Jessica on the corner of Polk and Hayes Street. Jessica asked me for some money so that she could get some food. She told me that she was hungry and wanted to get something to eat.
I told Jessica about my $2 Portrait project and she agreed to pose.
Jessica told me that she's lived in San Francisco for 11 years. She said that she was originally from Connecticut where she still has family. She said that doesn't really have any contact anymore with her family though.
Jessica told me that really liked music and that she likes to play music when she can. I asked Jessica what kind of music she played and she said mostly heavy metal, but sometimes other music like the Grateful Dead. I asked Jessica what else she liked to do beside play music and she said that sometimes she also liked to practice witchcraft.
I gave Jessica her $2 and thanked her for her portrait. After I gave her the $2 she asked me if she could have $2 more, but I explained to her that the portraits were just for $2 and she understood said thanks before I headed on my way down Polk Street.
